How to set up RSS feed

  1. RSS feed allows you to have access to updates on websites without going to the main sites. You will get the key information on the updates and you can choose what interests you quickly without wasting your time.

  2. Select RSS as your trigger app and enter the RSS feed url you are interested in.

Setting up your RSS Feed Trigger

New content published on a given RSS field, will be retrieved (based on your account plan with Rapidomize) each time this is triggered.

  1. To start creating an , select “Intelligent connected apps” menu icon and then click on “Create new ” button.
  2. Give a name for your .
  3. Go to next screen by clicking the green arrow button.
  4. Select “RSS feed” as your trigger app from the list of .
  5. Enter the link URL of RSS feed that you want to add a subscription.
  6. Enter “User name” and “Password” if your RSS feed is private or need authentication. Otherwise leave empty.
  7. Select the media type of RSS field from the drop down menu (if you don’t know the media type of the RSS field, leave the default value).
  8. Define the fields that you need to filter from RSS field by selecting attributes from the list.

  1. Test your action by clicking on “Test / Get Sample Data”.
  2. Save your by clicking on “Save ”.
  3. You will get a card entry in “Intelligent Connected Apps page”.
  4. To activate the , turn ON the “Run” toggle slider.
  5. Click on “Status” icon on the card to see the status of your from the Dashboard.
  6. Once you activated your , it will run according to the specified schedule.
